Uttara Guruvayurappan is a South Indian temple located at Mayur Vihar Phase-1, Delhi. Arsha Dharma Parishad is a group of devotees who established the temple on 17 May 1983. Before its successful establishment, the temple was about to be built in Janakpuri. Due to astrological concerns, the temple shifted to Mayur Vihar Phase-1. On 8th April 1983, the Balalayam (a temporary structure in which the deities are accommodated before construction) was designed by Prof. Vezhaparambu Parameshwaran Namboodiripad.
During its Balalayam, the deity of Lord Guruvayurappan was brought from Kerala. The devotees used to worship the Lord Guruvayurappan in his Balalaym.
